There’s a moment just before a storm arrives when the air changes.
The wind grows heavier. The waves become louder. The sky darkens slowly overhead… and suddenly you realize you’re standing between peace and uncertainty.

Sea Storm was inspired by a walk on the beach with my mom and children just before the rain rolled in. As dramatic clouds gathered over the ocean, I couldn’t stop thinking about the story in Mark 4 — when the disciples panicked in the middle of the storm, forgetting the Messiah was right there beside them.

This piece became more than a seascape.
It became a reminder.

A reminder that faith is not the absence of fear.
It’s choosing to trust even when the waves rise.

Built with rich palette knife texture and layered movement, Sea Storm captures both the power of the storm and the peace found in surrender. The deep moody blues, crashing foam, and light breaking through the horizon were created to evoke stillness in the soul — the kind that calls us to pause, breathe deeply, and remember that God remains sovereign over every uncertain season.
