This piece was inspired by a simple afternoon—watching a little girl pause, lean into stillness, and study the birds along the water’s edge. There was no rush, no urgency… just curiosity and presence.

And in that moment, something deeper surfaced.

A reminder that the birds live without striving—without storing, planning, or worrying—and yet they are provided for. It’s an invitation to loosen our grip, to release the constant need to control what comes next, and to trust that what we need will meet us there.

The rich texture and layered color reflect that tension—between movement and stillness, uncertainty and peace. Warm earth tones meet soft greens and light, grounding the piece in both reality and reflection.
